Commissioned in June 2024, the Orly Airport station is one of the key hubs of Line 14 of the Grand Paris Express, directly connecting the airport to the heart of the Paris metropolitan area. The station’s architecture features generous and luminous interior spaces, designed to accommodate high passenger flows while providing a clear and high-quality spatial experience.
Within this framework, Rebeton designed and manufactured bespoke ACRYTHERM® mineral slabs for the interior wall cladding. The elements were developed to integrate precisely with the architectural design and the technical constraints of the project.
The bespoke manufacturing notably enabled the creation of specific shed elements, integrated into the wall cladding to meet acoustic requirements while contributing to the architectural expression of the space. The mineral materiality of the slabs captures and diffuses light, helping to create an atmosphere that is both elegant and durable in this high-traffic environment.
