Located on Rue David d’Angers in Paris, this social housing development, designed by TOA Architectes, features contemporary architecture that integrates subtly into a dense urban fabric. The building is distinguished by its refined volumetric treatment, particularly at the corner, where the facade curves to soften the transition between the two streets.
The architectural expression is based on a continuous envelope, structured by the window layout and enhanced by textural detailing on the facade. The materiality plays a central role, adding depth and subtle vibrancy to an intentionally restrained composition.
Within this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured ACRYTHERM® D mineral panels, installed using a clip fixing system, incorporating curved elements and custom textured panels. This texturing provides the façade with a subtle, consistent relief that captures light and highlights the mineral surface.
The panels precisely follow the building’s geometry, particularly at rounded corners, while ensuring line continuity and high-quality joint alignment.
The base, finished in Chocolate, forms a contrasting mineral plinth that anchors the building within its environment and reinforces the perception of its volume. On the upper levels, the light colour and textured panels provide a bright and uniform visual reading of the facade.
This project demonstrates Rebeton’s ability to support demanding residential developments, delivering made-to-measure solutions where form mastery, material expression, and execution precision fully contribute to the architectural quality of the project.
