Located in the Kirchberg district of Luxembourg, the CBK II – BGL BNP Paribas Banking Centre, designed by M3 Architectes, is set within a prominent commercial environment. The building’s architecture is distinguished by its slender volumes and a façade structured by a regular grid, giving the whole project a strong and legible identity.
The facade features a grid-based design, where each window is framed by thick mineral material, creating a play of depth and relief. This treatment results in a facade that is both rigorous and expressive, with its perception changing according to light and viewing angles.
Within this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured ACRYTHERM® D mineral panels, installed using a clip fixing system, in Glacier colour with a fine stone finish. The panels feature monolithic returns, allowing precise treatment of window reveals and corners while reinforcing the continuity of the material.
One of the project’s distinctive features is the installation of panels with an inclined layout, creating subtle facets around the frames and contributing to the façade’s textural richness. This arrangement enhances light and shadow effects and reinforces the perceived depth of the windows.
Made-to-measure manufacturing ensures consistent grid spacing, precise alignment, and sharp edges across the entire facade, even on complex geometries.
The building also holds international environmental certifications (BREEAM, HQE, DGNB) and a high energy performance rating, reflecting a strong focus on the project’s overall sustainability.
This project demonstrates Rebeton’s ability to contribute to large-scale commercial projects, developing made-to-measure solutions where attention to detail, geometric precision, and material quality fully support the architectural expression.
