Located on rue de Paradis in Paris, this office building underwent an architectural upgrade aimed at modernizing its image while enhancing the quality of its façade. Entrusted to DVVD Ingénieurs Architectes Designers, the project relies on a subtle interplay of material and texture to give the façade a renewed contemporary identity.

In this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured custom ACRYTHERM® mineral slabs with bespoke matrices developed specifically for the project. The matrix, colour, and finish were created to precisely meet the architectural intent, providing the façade with a unique and expressive character

The vertical grooved pattern gives the mineral surfaces a subtle vibration that animates the façades as light changes. This texture adds depth to the envelope while maintaining the sobriety and elegance expected in a dense urban environment.

The custom-made fabrication ensured the continuity of the pattern across all façades and guaranteed a perfectly uniform appearance. The matrix treatment thus fully contributes to the building’s identity, transforming an existing façade into a contemporary envelope with strong architectural value.
