Located in Paris, the Pajol sports complex, designed by Brisac Gonzalez, is part of an urban ensemble structured around a large esplanade. Conceived as an open and accessible public facility, the building features a contemporary architecture where the envelope plays a central role in defining the project’s identity.
The façade features a hybrid composition, alternating opaque areas with high thermal mass and glazed surfaces that enhance user comfort and natural light. This play of contrasts is further emphasised through reflections, animating the surfaces and allowing the building to integrate harmoniously into its surroundings.
Within this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured grooved ACRYTHERM® mineral panels to clad the façades. Installed vertically, they contribute to the façade’s structure and the perception of the building’s volume. The rhythm of the grooves accentuates the verticality of the facility and complements its proportions..
The panels also feature high-relief elements with a metallic treatment, adding an additional dimension to the façade. This surface treatment captures light and creates subtle variations depending on the viewing angle, enhancing the dynamic character of the envelope
Made-to-measure manufacturing ensures precise elements and continuity of lines, contributing to the overall architectural quality of the building.
This project demonstrates Rebeton’s ability to support public facilities by providing mineral solutions that combine technical performance, material richness, and architectural expression.
