Located on Rue de Casablanca in Paris, the Sainte-Félicité Maternity Hospital, designed by AIA Architectes, features a contemporary architecture where the fluidity of forms supports both functionality and spatial perception. The building is distinguished by its use of curved volumes, which soften the architectural expression and enhance the quality of the patient and visitor experience in this healthcare facility.
The façade is organised around continuous, enveloping lines, where the circular geometry structures the building’s different levels and creates a fluid reading of the whole.
Within this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured ACRYTHERM® mineral panels in Glacier colour with a matte finish, incorporating curved elements specifically developed for the project. These panels faithfully follow the building’s geometry while ensuring line continuity and precise joint alignment, even in corner areas.
The panels are also used for soffit cladding, extending the mineral material across all visible surfaces. This treatment reinforces the perception of a continuous envelope without breaks and contributes to the project’s overall architectural coherence.
Made-to-measure manufacturing ensures consistent radii, sharp edges, and high-quality execution, even on complex geometries. The mineral material, combined with the light colour, captures light and accentuates the building’s curves, contributing to a soft and harmonious perception of the whole.
The curve is no longer a constraint; it becomes a controlled expression of the architecture.
This project demonstrates Rebeton’s ability to tackle demanding projects, developing made-to-measure solutions where form mastery, technical precision, and architectural quality are inseparable.
