Located in the heart of Zurich, the Migros Wengihof commercial building is set within a dense urban environment where contemporary architecture must balance clarity, durability, and integration into the existing fabric. The project features a structured façade, whose materiality contributes to the building’s identity and its presence in the public space.

Within this framework, Rebeton designed and manufactured the external façade cladding using bespoke ACRYTHERM® mineral slabs. The elements were developed to precisely meet the architectural intent, with molded components incorporating varied structures and specific geometries.

The project also involved research and development of bespoke colors to achieve a shade aligned with the building’s architectural language and its surroundings. The combination of complex forms and carefully controlled tones brings the façades to life and enhances their expression.

Thanks to ACRYTHERM® technology, the slabs provide a solution that is both durable, high-performing, and low in carbon impact, illustrating Rebeton’s ability to support demanding architectural projects where bespoke design, innovation, and environmental quality are closely intertwined.
