Located in Bois-Colombes, the Coface Group headquarters, designed by Chaix & Morel, features a distinctive architecture marked by a sculpted volume composed of white and grey facets. Animated by windows of varying sizes, the facades create an intentionally irregular rhythm, giving the building a strong visual identity.
Materiality plays a central role in this architectural expression. The mineral cladding follows the variations of the volumes and captures light, highlighting the building’s edges and planes. The colours — Glacier and Antimony — interact with the metallic elements of the base and the crown, enhancing the overall visual reading.
Within this context, Rebeton designed and manufactured nearly 7,000 m² of made-to-measure ACRYTHERM® mineral panels, integrated into the facade with high precision. The material’s lightweight nature allows for optimised supporting structures and easier installation, while its robustness ensures long-term durability of colours and textures.
The made-to-measure panels precisely follow the building’s geometry, ensuring line continuity and sharp edges. The mineral cladding adapts perfectly to changes in planes, enhancing the perception of volumes and the overall coherence of the facade. The material does not simply cover the volume; it reveals its geometry.
This project demonstrates Rebeton’s ability to contribute to architecturally distinctive projects, where the façade serves as a structuring element, supporting an architecture that is sculpted, precise, and durable.
