Located on the seafront in Monaco, the Mona Tower is an 85-meter-high residential tower developed over 22 floors. Set in a particularly demanding environment, the project is exposed to sea winds, salt spray, and regional seismic requirements, requiring rigorous design and carefully adapted material choices.
The architecture of the tower is defined by a superposition of balconies that structure the facade and contribute to the building’s vertical expression. Within this framework, Rebeton designed and manufactured ACRYTHERM® mineral slab elements integrated into the balcony facades, produced on a bespoke basis to match the repetitive geometry and precise tolerances of the tower.
These elements contribute to the overall architectural unity while meeting the mechanical and environmental constraints of the site, particularly in terms of wind resistance and durability in a coastal environment. The precision of manufacturing and the quality of finishes ensure continuity of lines and long-term durability of the building envelope, in compliance with regulatory requirements in a seismic zone.
This project illustrates Rebeton’s ability to support high-rise developments in constrained environments, combining bespoke solutions, technical performance, and architectural ambition.
