Stadiums and facilities dedicated to sports activites and events are long lasting construction projects. Those massive engineering works have to resist to the damages caused by weather and time. The combination of a zero porosity skin made of ACRYTHERM® covering a light steel structure is the secret recipe for stadiums.
Description
A huge weight reduction was possible thanks to the combination of a zero porosity skin made of ACRYTHERM® with a steel structure. The gain on weight enabled to reduce constraints on the concrete foundations of the stadium. 15’000 unique and different pieces of ACRYTHERM® were necessary to build this spherical shape.
